Most of my digital paintings are from working with Mill Wood Art in Raleigh. We printed our artwork on rough cut boards of all shapes, sizes and builds. The work environment was extremely fast-paced, so this forced me to be very creative with my workflows. I created custom actions in Photoshop in order to create my base layer after arranging the image. Next, I would use a 24" Wacom Cintiq monitor to paint the image.
We would create collections with certain looks, so I created custom actions for each in order to keep consistent looks. Animals were high in demand and so were "name drop" pieces of art. Those required text field updates which would sometimes have have their own stylings and were placed in the document as smart objects.
